DIY: Halloween Jars Pt. 2 (Frankenstein)

Frankenstein didn't know what was coming when he created the MONSTER! LOL did you all know that "Frankenstein" is actually the name of the scientist who created the "monster." Who we all know as Frankenstein actually has no name...at least that's what I remembered from Mary Shelley's famous book :) Now I present to you, Frankenstein's monster! Muahahhaha!

Watch me create him down below!

DIY: Halloween Jars Pt. 1 (Mummy)

Why was the little ghost crying?...because he wanted his MUMMY! LOL okay all jokes aside, who else is SUPER excited for Halloween?! I know I am! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and I just couldn't wait to do a DIY for it. I hit up my local dollar store and bought everything (except for my hot glue) to make these adorably spooky jars :).

I only have the tutorial for Mr. Mummy but Mr. Frankenstein should be posted soon!

DIY: Mustache Loafers

BEFORE

AFTER

Hello my loves! I don’t know about y’all but I looove mustaches J They’re super adorable on shirts, as jewelry, so why not on a pair of loafers?! This project was very simple to do and is great for those that wanna ‘stache up their pair of loafers, flats, or slippers too.

What You’ll Need:

-Loafers or whatever shoes you want to use (My loafers were $19.99 but I got them for a sweet $9.99 thanks to my boyfriend’s $10 off coupon J)

-White felt (I used scrap felt from a previous DIY, but you can get them for under 50 cents at Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, JoAnn)

-Gemstones, 2-3 packs (purchased at Hobby Lobby, $2.99 each but don’t forget to used 40% off coupon so I got them for a little cheaper

-Scissors

-Hot Glue

-Pencil and Paper

Step 1- Draw your mustache/Print one out.

Step 2- Cut the mustache out.

Step 3- Place your paper cutout mustache on white felt.

Step 4-Using the paper cutout mustache as a guide, cut out 2 felt mustaches.

Step 5- Hot glue gemstones to cover each mustache.

Step 6- Hot glue your gemstoned mustaches to your loafers; one mustache for your left and one mustache for your right :)

Step 7- Let it dry for a couple of minutes.

Step 8-Wear those cutie patooties! (I've already worn them and the felt holds perfectly to my velvet loafers thanks to the hot glue)
